We can take action upstream by avoiding producing waste, which helps keep our streets and island clean, but we can also separate waste more effectively to recycle it at the Waste Processing and Recycling Centre, where it will be transformed into a resource.
Your rubbish bins should be placed along the island’s main roads between 5 and 9 am, depending on your location on the lorry routes, every day except Sunday and holidays, or brought to the Waste Processing and Recycling Center.
