Give your waste a new life with the Saint-Barthélemy waste processing and recycling centre

We can take action upstream by avoiding producing waste, which helps keep our streets and island clean,but we can also separate waste more effectively to recycle it at the Waste Processing and Recycling Centre, where it will be transformed into a resource.

Here are some sorting and collection guidelines

Your rubbish bins should be placed along the island’s main roads between 5 and 9 am, depending on your location on the lorry routes, every day except Sunday and holidays, or brought to the Waste Processing and Recycling Center.

Tires from lightweight or 2-wheeled vehicles €6 / unit

Mineral or vegetable oil €0.6 / litre
Miscellaneous liquids €1 / litre

As these products are not included in the free monthly plan, a fee will be charged.

Other vehicles €50 / hour and €130 / ton
Destruction certificate €40 / admin. fee

1st visit of each month FREE OF CHARGE
Following visits:
- lightweight vehicles: €14 / visit
- other vehicles, such as light pickups: €54 / visit
(must not exceed the height of the rails)
- oversized vehicle, such as truck H100: €68 / visit

Such as (empty) jacuzzis, tanks or fibreglass pools, insulation, etc. By appointment only.
Destruction of large industrial-type household appliances is fee-based and by appointment only.
